PolishdeConstruction is looking for volunteers to help develop many creative projects.We are particularly interested in people who want to get involved in those areas:
Researching and preparing materials relating to Polish artists in the UK.
Design of invitations, posters, flyers and promotional material.
Writing articles and press releases for press. Writing for PdC website, developing forum, posting new topics.
Helping with PdC events prior an event, managing and stewarding the event.
Photographing and making videos at the PdC events.
We are also preparing and exhibition about that would reflect issues about Polish emigration to GB. If any part of your work links with the issue of Polish emigration, in ay way, shape or form we want to hear from you. We are interested in your point of view, your reflection on this issue from your perspective. Fun, sad, surreal, surprising - anything. If you are not an artist, but love taking snaps or doing other creative things, we want your work as well!! Anything describing, reflecting, on the fact of emigration, how you assimilate, what it means to you to be here, or not to be in Poland? Dig up your draws and hard drive for those precious photos! Even quirky images form the odd day, or house party we would like a copy of it.
